The name, Treetle, is an amalgamation of "Tree" and "Assemble", symbolic of the old days when people gathered around the village square (which sometimes was a big banyan tree) after work to engage in activities they were interested in.

Pankaj
founded Treetle after moving houses three times in three years and becoming frustrated that he couldn't find people around him to bike with. Previously, Pankaj worked at Cisco, McKinsey, Oracle, Infosys and Booz & Co. He graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Computer Science and also has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Interests: Biking, squash, golf, Photography
Hemant
looks at all things sales and marketing, and chips in (sometimes heavily) with product management, QA and all things in between. Is an MBA gold medallist and loves reading. Always has packages from e-commerce companies being delivered at the office. Rumour has it that the companies are thinking of assigning a full-time delivery boy for him!
Interests: Finding new places for vegetarian food, discovering off-beat home-stays for travel.
Tony:
Also responsible for making sure lots of key things in the app never break down. Tell him he can't solve a problem and you will likely have to eat your words. Is a speed addict and has done crazy things like shooting a video of his speedometer with one hand while driving his car from 0 to 150 kmph with the other!
Interests: Travelling, cricket, cars, speed
Roni:
Responsible for making sure lots of key things in the app never break down. Smiles when difficult problems are thrown at him! Also someone who travels 270+ kms one way from Bangalore to Ooty for having lunch!
Interests: Outdoors, Ping Pong.
Shammi: Arch nemesis of the development team, his mission is to break what is built. It's fun for non-developers to watch! Hates working on Saturdays and would rather be playing basketball. But the developers get right back at him, by making sure he tests during the weekend!
Interests: Basketball, sketching, travelling, budding novelist
Sanjay: In a startup comprised of a handful of extremely passionate people who bring very specific skills to the table, Sanjay came in with only a few months of work experience. But the entire team approved of his attitude and hunger to learn and contribute - something we value very highly.
Interests: Table Tennis, database, sketching
Sushant: When he's busy designing something or tweaking the website, can't hear anyone call him even if from a few feet away (it could be that his earphones are so deeply embedded, but we'd like to think it's his singular focus on the task at hand)
Interests: Rock music, doodling, cycling, photography
Prakhar: Also responsible for making sure lots of key things in the app never break down. Took responsibility for a key piece of the product on day one, and is taking on more!
Interests: Travel, music, late night walks, swimming
